BayCare Sound Rules

BayCare Sound is dedicated to making sure everyone has a great time during their stay. To make sure everyone can enjoy concerts, festivals, and special events, certain rules are in place. Be sure to read and review the following policies.

Every event may also have their own specific rules, so please be sure to refer to your event guide for complete details. You may also reach out to BayCare Sound at 727-562-4700 for further details. Be sure you mention the name and date of your event to have accurate rules and policy information.

Understanding The BayCare Sound’s rules ensures a smooth entry and an enjoyable experience for all guests. The venue enforces these policies consistently to maintain safety, comfort, and legal compliance. Guests are encouraged to review all entry guidelines before arriving to avoid delays at the gate.

Following these simple rules helps create a welcoming, organized environment where everyone can focus on what truly matters, enjoying great music and unforgettable moments along Clearwater’s scenic waterfront.

What You Can Bring Inside

To ensure a safe and efficient entry process, The BayCare Sound follows a clear bag policy. Typically, guests are allowed to bring clear bags or small clutches into the venue. Diaper bags and medical bags will be subject to inspection, but security generally allows them in.

Those enjoying lawn seating are welcome to bring blankets or towels. Be sure to check the size restrictions before you pack. You may also bring along empty, clear hydration packs to stay comfortable and refreshed throughout the concert.

Items Prohibited at the Venue

Outside food, drinks, bottles, cans, and coolers are not allowed inside the venue to keep the space clean and support on-site concessions. For everyone’s safety, weapons of any kind, including knives, mace, or spiked accessories, are strictly prohibited.

Guests can’t bring umbrellas, strollers, or inflatable seating, but blankets are welcome for lawn areas. To maintain a comfortable and distraction-free atmosphere, recreational items like frisbees, fireworks, glow sticks, and confetti are also banned. Lastly, apply any aerosol products, such as sunscreen or hairspray, before entering the venue.

BayCare Sound events restrict certain items for safety and contract reasons. While some events may vary, the following is a partial list that is relevant to most concerts, festivals, and events. Please contact BayCare Sound at 727-562-4700 if you have any questions or refer to your ticketed event description and program.

Photography Rules

The venue generally prohibits professional recording equipment, including GoPro cameras, tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks. Audio and video recording devices face restrictions to protect artists’ intellectual property rights. Individual artists may allow smartphone photography and videos during performances, but policies vary by show.

Age Requirements

Age restrictions vary by event based on content, artist preferences, and venue policies. Some concerts are open to all ages, making them ideal for families and younger fans, while others are limited to guests 18 or 21 and older.

Always check the event details before purchasing tickets to avoid any surprises. Valid photo ID may be required upon entry, and venue staff strictly enforce these guidelines to ensure compliance and a safe, enjoyable atmosphere for everyone attending.

Arrival Policy

Seating for most events is general admission. So BayCare Sound recommends that you arrive no later than 30 minutes before a ticketed event to make sure you have plenty of time to find parking in the area and a great spot to set up your blankets or chairs. Arriving early also limits how much disruption guests may cause if they arrive late.

Bag Policy

Event staff reserves the right to inspect any bags for inspection. Guests have the right to refuse searches and event staff reserve the right to deny entry. Any prohibited items may be returned to your vehicle.

Cancellation Policy

Events at BayCare Sound occur in most cases, no matter the weather. If severe weather or artist cancellation forces an event to be canceled, guests should call 727-562-4700 to ask about rescheduling or ticket refund policy.

Food Policy

Outside food may be allowed depending on the specific event. Please refer to the ticketed event description for details. Events at BayCare Sound have a variety of vendors and concessions stands available to satisfy every craving and need. Please call 727-562-4700 for further information.

Lost and Found Policy

Lost an item at an event? You can ask event staff for help with finding the lost and found service. You can also call 727-562-4700 after the show. Please be prepared to leave your full name, contact information, and a detailed description of your lost item. BayCare Sound does not claim responsibility for your lost possessions.
